History

TTL was created in 1997 to pioneer the manufacture of large, fully-automated robotic telescopes using state-of-the-art systems developed for some of the world's largest and most sophisticated conventional telescopes. TTL has brought this engineering challenge to a successful conclusion with the manufacture and delivery of several 2m-class telescopes, which are the largest robotic and most advanced technology telescopes of their class in the world.

In Spring 2005, TTL was purchased by the Las Cumbres Observatory.
